Mitosis and CYtokinesis
1. Interphase prepares the cells to divide and the DNA is duplicated.
2. Prophase is the first phase of dividing the nucleus out of four. The chromosomes condense and spindle fibers form.
3. Metaphase is when the chromosomes line up in the middle of the cell.
4. Anaphase is when the sister chromatids separate to opposite sides of the cell.
5. Telophase is the step when new nuclei form and chromosomes begin to uncoil.
6. Cytokinesis in animal cells, membrane pinches closed and in plant cells, a cell plate is formed.
